Jelle van der Zwet is the Co-Founder of Oppo Merchandise Group (OMG), the company behind bold apparel brands like OppoSuits, Suitmeister and Offstream, with OppoSuits being the most recognized brand in the portfolio. Launched and headquartered just outside of Amsterdam, OMG has grown from a quirky startup into a global business, building partnerships with entertainment icons such as Warner Bros, Nintendo, Pokémon, and Minecraft, among many others, and securing distribution through leading retailers including Amazon, Macy’s, Zalando, Nordstrom, Kohl’s, Spirit Halloween, and beyond.
Jelle began his career in the corporate real estate world at Cushman & Wakefield in London, but it was during a backpacking trip that a fun, slightly crazy idea struck: creating a bright orange suit for Dutch football fans at the World Cup. That single playful concept sparked what would become a worldwide company. After establishing the business across Europe, he moved across the Atlantic to expand into the U.S., Canada, and Mexico—turning OMG into a true international player. With a passion for where culture, clothing, events and commerce intersect, he continues to push how brands can connect with audiences in today’s fast-changing digital world.
