Aleco Azqueta is the Vice President of Marketing for GREY GOOSE North America. As a key leader of the team, Aleco brings over 20 years of experience in the spirits space, having started his career with Bacardi in 1998. During his initial 10 years with the organization, Aleco ran the Dewar’s brand and was a lead on GREY GOOSE, where he was instrumental in the brand's successful integration into the Bacardi portfolio. During his time on GREY GOOSE, he helped launch GREY GOOSE La Poire and led the development of the U.S. Open program, a partnership the brand has maintained for 16 years; as well as developed the groundbreaking Iconoclast program with Conde Nast and the Sundance Channel. After 8 years as an entrepreneur, his career has come full circle, returning to Bacardi where he has led the launch of GREY GOOSE Essences, one of the most successful launches in Bacardi USA history, as well as led in the development of innovative brand partnerships such as “In Bloom” with SZA & Kehlani, Emmy Award-winning talk show series ”The Shop Uninterrupted,” and establishing GREY GOOSE as the official spirits partner of the Grammys. As a result of its great programming, in 2022, GREY GOOSE was awarded Impact’s Hot brand Award.

Michael Smith is a seasoned marketing executive with experience driving growth for consumer brands. He is a believer in the power of brand equity and culture driven marketing to deliver business results and create a sustainable competitive advantage through differentiation. Michael has two decades of experience in the industry and currently works at PepsiCo as the Head of Brand Marketing for Starry, a newly launched lemon-lime soda brand poised to disrupt a stagnant category.

Michael received his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and his undergraduate degree from Yale University.

June Risser

General Manager & EVP Premium Skincare

June Lee Risser is the GM & EVP for the Premium Skincare Division at Crown Laboratories, leading the science-based clinical skin care brand StriVectin and the sunless tanning brand Vita Liberata. June is a skin care expert and digital innovator with a proven track record of growth and has worked in both the US and the UK. Prior to Crown, she was the General Manager of Galderma Laboratories, where she led the dermatologist recommended skin care brands Cetaphil and Differin, doubling the business under her leadership. For her transformative efforts in social media and influencer marketing on Cetaphil, she was named by Glossy Magazine as a Top 50 Beauty Executive of the Year in 2021. June also spent twelve years at Reckitt, a global consumer products company. June graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Politics from Princeton University and earned a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University.
