Allison Ellsworth is the Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer of poppi – the prebiotic soda brand
revolutionizing soda for the next generation. poppi combines fruit juice and prebiotics to create a
deliciously refreshing, mouthwatering soda with 5 grams of sugar and 25 calories.
Before founding poppi, Allison spent seven years on the road working in the oil and gas industry. It took
a toll on her health, and she found herself struggling with a variety of issues. Taking matters into her
own hands, she discovered the health benefits of apple cider vinegar, but hated the taste. She set out on
a journey to create a beverage that gave you those benefits while still tasting great. Allison started
selling the product at farmers markets before taking a leap of faith and pitching the brand on Shark Tank
with her co-founder and husband, Stephen Ellsworth. They successfully landed a deal, leading to poppi’s
nationwide distribution, quickly growing into Amazon’s #1 selling soda brand.
Allison leads the Austin-based beverage company’s overall brand and creative strategy. She pioneered
the brand’s cultural cache and digital-first approach, attracting a loyal community of over 850K followers
(including a viral TikTok account boasting over +2B views) and celebrity brand fans including Hailey
Bieber, Kylie Jenner, Billie Eilish, Russell Westbrook and Jennifer Lopez. Allison has been recognized in
the 2024 Inc. Female Founders 250 and Austin Woman Magazine’s 2024 Change Makers List. She lives in
Austin, TX with her husband and three boys.
