With 25 years of experience at GALLO, Amy Lund is a driving force behind the power of the brand. She is a leader committed to innovation in marketing as well as in the workplace, where she leads a world-class team responsible for investment media, digital marketing, partnerships, public relations, creative design and production, and corporate communications, supporting a portfolio of 130 brands in the alcohol beverage space.
One of her most visible recent accomplishments was making GALLO the Official Wine Sponsor of the NFL with Barefoot Wine. Lund negotiated the deal and is the creative mind behind the campaign, which brought two million new consumers into the wine category over the past three seasons.
She is also credited with driving growth in GALLO spirits. She implemented a retail brand strategy that grew the portfolio 100%, established an ambassador program to gain market share, and deployed strategies to help reach consumers in a fractured market. Lund led the team that acquired the trademark and created marketing for High Noon – America’s #1 hard seltzer and largest spirit in the United States by volume.
Within GALLO, Lund is known for her ability to lead and cultivate a strong and dedicated team by emphasizing resilience, curiosity and entrepreneurship. She empowers her team to create and thrive, motivating them with unique opportunities like hybrid marketing roles, external partnerships, and remote work in the field. She leads with empathy and clarity.
Lund worked her way up through the ranks at GALLO holding roles in production, supply chain management, product development, finance, corporate strategy, and other strategic roles before moving into marketing 10 years ago. Her intimate knowledge of all aspects of the company make her a trusted advisor to leadership, including the Gallo family, and a mentor to team members looking to follow her path and grow with the company.
Lund graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Management from Washington State University and joined Gallo in 2000. In 2006, she obtained an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California. She also holds attended the Stanford University of Graduate Executive Program receiving a certificate in Strategy.
Back in Longview, Washington, she met and fell in love with her high school sweetheart, Jason. Married for 27 years, they now reside in Monterey, California with their son, Logan.
