Amy Marino is Senior Director and Head of Global Brand Marketing at HubSpot. Marino leads the teams responsible for making HubSpot the relentlessly relevant customer platform for scaling businesses through brand strategy, insights, governance, advertising, social, media, and analytics.
Marino joined HubSpot in summer 2021, and has focused her teams and efforts around growing awareness and driving demand for the HubSpot brand and its core marketing, sales, and service products globally with advertising and social media content that breaks the B2B mold to reach business decision makers.
Prior to HubSpot, Marino spent 10 years at American Express where she served in various leadership roles developing innovative and compelling strategies to drive prospect and customer demand, engagement, loyalty, and retention. There, her work ranged from leading American Express’ longest-running brand campaign, Small Business Saturday, and its global Shop Small initiatives to running digital and experiential activations for premium card members to launching first-ever digital partnerships with companies like Uber, Airbnb, Delta, Apple, and Samsung.
Marino has been named one of the “Most Creative People In Business” by Fast Company, a Brand Innovators’ 40 Under 40, and her work has been recognized with a Gold Effie. Prior to American Express, Marino led PR and social media strategy from the agency side for both Fortune 100 brands as well as startups.
Marino lives in New York City with her husband and two daughters, and received a dual B.S. in Public Relations and Political Science from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
