Tyler Rutstein is a creative and media-centric global marketing & merchandising executive. Currently, Tyler leads Global Brand Marketing and the Americas Regional Marketing teams at Under Armour, focusing on elevating the brand’s presence and creating a clear & consistent narrative.
Prior to Under Armour, Tyler was the Chief Brand Officer & Head of Commerce at Overtime, leading brand, consumer marketing, creative/design, consumer products & apparel, licensing, and commerce for the sports media platform and it’s Leagues (OTE, OT7, OT Select). Overtime was named one of TIME 100 most innovative companies (2024).
A nine-year veteran of adidas in various roles, Tyler worked professionally for two years based in Europe focused on the global six key cities where he developed specialized knowledge and a global perspective on market and cultural differences. He calls it his real-world MBA.
Tyler is an adjunct professor at the University of Florida, teaching “Sports Branding.”
He serves on the Board of Envision, a purpose-driven American manufacturing company. Envision is a non-profit where most of their employees are blind or visually impaired.
Tyler attended the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism.
